SBS C2S

SBS C2S, or Solid Bleached Sulphate Coated Two Sides, is the premium upgrade to standard SBS board. Like C1S it is made from pure bleached virgin pulp, but both faces are clay coated to produce a smooth, bright white printing surface on the outside and the inside of the package. This dual coating is what sets it apart and makes it the go-to material for the most demanding luxury applications.

The main advantage of SBS C2S is total visual control. When a box is opened and the interior is on display, the inside looks just as polished as the outside, allowing full color printing, branding messages, or patterns on both surfaces. This is highly valued for unboxing experiences, gift packaging, and premium retail products where presentation is part of the brand story.

From a performance standpoint, SBS C2S delivers excellent print fidelity for offset and digital printing, accepts foil stamping, embossing, spot UV, and matte or gloss lamination, and creases cleanly without surface cracking. It is rigid, smooth, and consistent in caliper, which makes it reliable on automated converting lines. Because it is virgin-pulp based, it is also odor and taste neutral and suitable for food and pharmaceutical packaging.

Typical uses include luxury cosmetic and fragrance boxes, premium chocolate and confectionery packaging, gift sets, electronics packaging, and any folding carton where both sides are seen by the customer.
